The Weesatche project is one of two Powder River Petroleum International Inc. currently holds in Goliad County, Texas in the Powder River Consolidated Field. The Company purchased this project in late 2005, and the first well was completed in March 2006. The wells are in the Gulf Coast Frio sand, which is under 4,000 feet. Frio wells traditionally produce approximately 1,000,000 MCF per day, however Powder River has the operations choked back to between 350 – 500 MCF per day. This allows the Company to maximize recovery, as well as the economic life of the project. In order to maximize the potential for each well, Powder River Petroleum International Inc. utilized 3-D seismic, which allowed this property a 100% success rate on each well. Powder River Petroleum International Inc. is currently in the process of completing the first 16 well phase of this project.
